Man, nothing messes up a perfectly good blog page like incorporating tables and CSS designed for an altogether different blog engine.

I find myself relying on a third party extension for Joomla quite a bit. As a result, I'm gonna toss one of them some unsolicited publicity:

Sourcerer allows you to place bits of code such as JavaScript and iframes right in the middle of formatted text in an article. Joomla's editor would otherwise strip out the code, even if it's entered using the HTML Source editor. It can be customized so that only certain fields/users have access to this feature.

After stripping out the Movable Type code from the top and bottom of the original page, I used Sourcerer to drop the MII G3 mod page into an iframe. A little tweaking of the parameters to get the width and height down and I was done. SWEET!

(Well, almost done. There's a link to the original G3 "SuperTanker" mod that isn't working because I haven't brought that over yet.)
